Like other Provincial Nominee program, OINP has Express Entry linked immigration stream to ease the arrival of eligible candidates from Express Entry pool for provincial nominations. All nominated Express entry candidates get additional 600 points o their Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score effectively guaranteeing an invitation to apply by IRCC for Canada PR. No, the job offer is not mandatory for immigrating to Ontario. However, it offers a significant advantage to the application. It means that both languages are used in Ontario for communication so, candidates must have linguistic knowledge in either of them. For NOC C and/or D, the required minimum CLB level is 4 in IELTS examination. For Express Entry’s Federal Skilled Worker program, the minimum CLB level is 7.
